Smoke Test

Those of you who’ve been stalking me long enough might remember Seat Graffiti, a simple benchmarking tool written in C. Well, as it turns out, I never got round to updating it, and it eventually slipped off the hard drive, and the web server.

With this in mind, I found myself playing with github, which is basically Sourceforge but using git instead of Subversion or CVS (both of which are abominations–never use them). I ended up writing a quick command line app in Xcode that had an integer test function that looked remarkably similar to Seat Graffiti’s.

It’s called Smoke Test, and I do intend to do more active development on it than I did with Seat Graffiti. Who knows? Someday it might end up being vaguely complete.
